Key Responsibilities

  • Build new features, fix bugs, and maintain scalable backend systems.
  • Write unit, integration, functional, and performance test cases.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and deliver hotfixes quickly.
  • Own and deliver end-to-end features:
    Ideation → Design → Build → Deploy → Support
    .
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, UX, frontend engineers, and QA teams to solve problems daily.
  • Ensure best practices in system design, coding standards, and software architecture.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of experience in full-cycle software development.
  • Expert-level skill in one of the following:
    Go, Rust, or Java
    (
    Go preferred
    ).
  • Strong experience in
    designing and building API services
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    data structures and algorithms
    (competitive coding experience on LeetCode/HackerRank is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, GCP, Azure) – advantage but not mandatory.
  • Experience with
    SDLC tools
    (Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Code Coverage, Load/Performance testing, AWS CodeDeploy).
  • Knowledge of
    monitoring and alerting tools
    is a plus.
  • Contributions to
    open-source projects
    is a plus.
  • Prior
    startup experience
    is highly valued.
