Job Title: ELV Technician

Job Summary:

The ELV Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Extra Low Voltage systems such as CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and building automation systems. The role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:
• Install and configure ELV systems, including security cameras, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and data networks.
• Run and terminate cables and wires according to design specifications and industry standards.
• Mount and set up equipment, such as cameras, sensors, and control panels.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of ELV systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including faulty wiring, equipment malfunctions, and connectivity problems.
• Replace or upgrade components and equipment as necessary to maintain system performance.
• Testing and Commissioning:
• Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation for completed work and system updates.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards during installation and maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in electrical or electronic engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of ELV systems and components, including CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and audio-visual systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Prior experience in 1 and above years in installing and maintaining ELV systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring practices is advantageous.

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12, ₹30,000.00 per month
