Roles & responsibilities 
We are recruiting for a Senior Analyst to provide financial support and analysis in ensuring that the bookkeeping is accurate and complete for our group of UK legal entities, including the running of monthly processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
UK legal entities
Preparation and review of quarterly trial balances including the preparation or collation and review of all balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure mis-postings are identified and resolved quickly. 
Liaise with relevant KBS departments to solve queries and problems as they arise.
Preparation of financial statements for legal entities, including all supporting documents for year end audit.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, liaising with relevant KBS teams and other departments to resolve queries and ensure reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis.
KPMG IFRG
Support with accounting and reporting for KPMG IFRG (International Financial Reporting Group)
Fixed Assets
Assist partnership accounts, facilities and IT teams with additions or disposals of assets - processing relevant entries in the fixed asset system.
Prepare reconciliation between the fixed asset report and SAP for all asset classes and GL codes.
Intercompany recharges
Maintaining off-system calculations, with necessary workarounds, for UK cross entity recharges to be calculated monthly, quarterly or annually depending on the nature of the recharge.
Work-In-Progress analysis
Preparation of monthly WIP reconciliation, reconciling GL codes balances across all legal entities to the engagement data report. 
Analysis and investigation, through liaison with the wider central finance team, any areas of differences in the reconciliation identified.
Other
Assisting in other ad hoc projects as required.

This role is for you if you have the below
Preference will be given to those who are working towards an accounting qualification eg ACCA, CA, CIMA, CMA, MBA Finance and over 2 years relevant experience of accounting in an operational or professional services environment
Experience with SAP is preferred.
Good Microsoft Office skills essential. Aptitude for working with data.
Good communication skills – the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and partners and act appropriately on requests.
Proactive thinking but also willing to learn and work as part of a team.
Good organizational skills – ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. Ability to deal with tight deadlines effectively, prioritizing appropriately, and to handle changing priorities and indeed change generally;
Attention to detail.

Preferred technical & functional skills 
Excellent Communication Skills
Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Knowledge of Data Analytics tools
