Okulo Aerospace is an early -stage stealth startup based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Combining renewable energy and precision engineering, we are currently developing solar -electric hybrid aerial platforms that will revolutionize aerial data acquisition. Would you like to play a key role in the conceptual and preliminary structural design of an innovative new product? If so, you might be a great fit for the Structural Engineering team at Okulo AerospaceRequirements Masters/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or bachelor's in aerospace/mechanical with a minimum of 4 years of experience in design and analysis of composite structures.Strong fundamentals in structural design, load calculations, aeroelasticity, FSI, and FEA.Well -versed in composite micromechanics and can design structural components for aerospace applications, particularly in the UAV domain.Ability to select required material and optimize different parameters such as thickness, layer orientation, etc. for the given application.Good understanding in the manufacturing of composite aircraft structures.Experience in working with composite sandwiched structures.Experience in static, dynamic, and thermal analysis of composite components and structures.Expertise in fatigue analysis for composite and metallic components (Both LCF and HCF).Expertise in FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, etc.Coding knowledge in Python/MATLAB.
