Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) professional to join our organization as a Business Process Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production-related business processes within discrete manufacturing industries. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify requirements, define solutions, and ensure that the business processes align with organizational objectives. This role demands strong functional expertise in SAP PP, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor teams to deliver efficient, technology-enabled process improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP PP Production Planning & Control in Discrete Manufacturing.

- Lead and manage a team of consultants and analysts to ensure delivery excellence.

- Own the decision-making process within the team, providing direction and guidance to achieve business outcomes.

- Engage with multiple business and IT teams to design, validate, and implement integrated production planning solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into SAP-enabled solutions.

- Conduct workshops and meetings to gather insights, identify pain points, and design process improvements.

- Provide end-to-end support in solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.

- Identify process gaps and propose system enhancements to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

- Ensure documentation of all processes, configurations, and business requirements in a comprehensive and structured manner.

- Collaborate with project management teams to align deliverables with timelines, scope, and quality standards.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging SAP best practices and emerging technologies.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on production planning strategy, process optimization, and system utilization.

Professional & Technical Skills :

- Must-Have : Proficiency in SAP PP - Production Planning & Control (Discrete Industries).

- Strong experience in production planning, capacity planning, MRP, and shop floor control processes.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations and functional specifications.

- Experience in process mapping, documentation, and business process re-engineering.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical business solutions.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

- Good understanding of integration points with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and QM.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and ability to manage end-to-end project delivery.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to mentor and develop team members through knowledge sharing and guidance.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

years of experience in SAP Production Planning, with at least 35 years in a leadership or architect role.

- Experience in Discrete Manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

- SAP Certification in PP or related modules will be an added advantage.
