About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Consultant ServiceNow ITOM who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in ITOM, CMDB, Service Portal development, integrations, and ServiceNow architecture. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, business teams, and clients to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. ServiceNow Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and implement complex custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.

- Develop reusable components and configure modules in alignment with business needs.

- Create and maintain Service Portal components, widgets, and UI pages for enhanced user experience.

- Implement ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, etc.) to automate and optimize processes.

2. Integrations & Upgrades :

- Build and manage integrations using SOAP and REST APIs to connect ServiceNow with external systems.

- Execute smooth ServiceNow instance migrations and platform upgrades while ensuring minimal downtime.

- Maintain data integrity, security, and performance during upgrades.

3. ITOM & CMDB Expertise :

- Work extensively on ITOM and CMDB modules to support asset discovery and management.

- Ensure CMDB data integrity, normalization, and reconciliation.

- Implement best practices for discovery, service mapping, and event management.

4. FSM, Asset Management & Mobile Agent :

- Enhance and support Field Service Management (FSM), Asset Management, and Now Mobile Agent applications.

- Customize workflows and processes to meet business requirements.

- Ensure high performance and reliability of the configured applications.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery :

- Engage with business stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.

- Participate in client meetings to analyze requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines and quality standards.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and post-implementation enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

years of overall IT experience with 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development.

- Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, core tables, and platform features.

- Proven expertise in ITOM and CMDB modules.

- Hands-on experience in Field Service Management, Asset Management, and Now Mobile Agent applications.

- Strong knowledge of Service Portal development and customization.

- Solid experience with SOAP and REST API integrations.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and development best practices.

- Experience with instance migrations, platform upgrades, and performance optimization.

- Excellent communication skills with experience in direct client interaction.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM or similar certifications preferred.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Service Mapping and Event Management.

- Knowledge of ITSM, ITBM, or SecOps modules.

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Certification : ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), CIS - ITOM.
