Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA Developer

Experience Range: 5-10 Years

Location:
Hyderabad/Chennai/Kolkata

Minimum Qualification: 15 years of full-time education

Must Have

  • Experience in administering concurrent managers and setting up PCP (parallel concurrent processing)
  • Experience in administration of R12.2.x and R12.1.x
  • Experience in tuning Oracle Applications including concurrent programs, online user forms etc
  • Proven Experience in architecting, designing, leading and delivering technology solutions around Oracle Database from 9i to 19c versions
  • Possess strong problem solving and communication skills. Must be able to articulate an issue, accurately identify solution options and communicate the best course of action to the internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral

Role & responsibilities

  • Perform Oracle eBS Cloning, Patch analysis & Deployment, eBS Server & Weblogic servers start up/ Shut down, Health checks, Database tuning & Performance monitoring, Capacity planning, Database cleansing / Archival, Database backup/Restore.
  • Perform Database monitoring, configuration management, Service improvements, Automation, Security Administration and Reporting.
  • Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance
  • Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages
  • Strong knowledge on environment provisioning and communication with Oracle on environment refresh, sizing
