Role Overview

We are looking for an immediate joiner with proven expertise in Scrapy framework (Python) to design, develop, and maintain scalable web crawlers.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, and handling dynamic websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web scraping projects using Scrapy (Python).

Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code for data extraction pipelines.

Handle anti-scraping techniques such as captchas, rotating proxies, and user-agent spoofing.

Work with large-scale datasets and ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.

Optimize spiders for speed, efficiency, and error handling.

Collaborate with the team to integrate scraped data into databases and APIs.

Debug and maintain existing scrapers, ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Python with mandatory experience in Scrapy (should reflect in candidate's resume).

Experience with web scraping libraries & tools: BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright (added advantage).

Good understanding of HTML, CSS, XPath, JSON, and REST APIs.

Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and data pipelines.

Knowledge of proxy management and distributed scraping solutions.

Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle large and complex data extraction tasks.

Immediate availability to join the team.

Good to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
