Job Purpose:

The SEO and SMO Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the online presence and visibility of Accelerate IT Services Inc. (AITS) across search engines and social media platforms. This role focuses on optimizing the AITS website, managing social media profiles, and promoting company services, events, and achievements to drive organic reach, engagement, inquiries, and lead conversions.

SEO Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to promote the schools website and admission campaigns.
  • Manage
  • Conduct keyword research relevant to the school (e.g., school admissions, best schools, etc.).
  • Optimize on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking to improve search visibility.
  • Manage off-page SEO activities such as backlink building, local directory listings, and educational content submissions.
  • Perform local SEO to improve the schools visibility on Google Maps and local search results.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure SEO-friendly blogs, articles, and landing pages.
  • Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools to measure organic performance.
  • Analyse competitors websites and implement best practices to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Ensure the school website is optimized for mobile users, fast loading speed, and user-friendly navigation.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and educational marketing practices.

SMO Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies across multiple platforms (Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create high-quality visual content using Canva, graphic designing skills, and video editing software to showcase products/services.
  • Manage influencer relationships through Influencer Marketing campaigns on LinkedIn & YouTube channels.
  • Monitor analytics reports to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all digital channels.

Required Qualifications:

  • * Bachelors degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • * 5 to10 years of experience in SEO, preferably in an educational or service-based organization.
  • * Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing from a recognized institution is desirable.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO & SMO strategies for the MSP sector in Canada
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and social media tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Suite)
  • Proven ability to manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Skilled in brand awareness and engagement campaigns
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an asset
