DevOps Engineer – Mohali (Phase 8, Punjab)

About the Role

Xtec Global is seeking a highly skilled and certified DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at SAS Nagar, Mohali (Phase 8). The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, RDS, and S3, with a focus on automation, scalability, and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, S3).
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Deploy and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Automate system tasks using Bash, Shell, or Python.
  • Handle S3 buckets and RDS instances, including backup, scaling, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure cloud security compliance with best practices (encryption, IAM, access control).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring maximum uptime.
  • Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and automation scripting.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, scaling, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or RHCE
  • DevOps Foundation or equivalent certifications
