Project Lead

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Manager to lead the Agile execution of a complex data management transformation program with a focus on converting from legacy applications to modern data analytics, incorporating Alteryx.

This role will oversee multiple Agile teams tasked with migrating from a legacy environment to an Alteryx-based solution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading Agile teams in data-driven environments and experience with delivering complex data transformation programs.

• Target start date: September 2025
• Hybrid model - 3 days at Bangalore Office, India
• Salary range: 32,00,000 to 45,00,000 INR

Responsibilities:

• Agile Leadership: Oversee multiple Agile teams to ensure effective implementation of a data transformation program.
  
• Scrum Facilitation: Lead Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) across teams, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  
• Team Coaching: Mentor teams in Agile and Scrum practices to improve delivery, quality, and continuous improvement.
  
• Cross-Team Coordination: Manage dependencies and collaboration between technical and business teams to align efforts.
  
• Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Stakeholders and business leaders to prioritise needs and ensure governance and compliance in data handling.
  
• Impediment Resolution: Remove blockers to keep teams on track, enabling them to meet critical milestones.
  
• Progress Tracking: Use Agile metrics to monitor and communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
  
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure that client data governance and regulatory compliance are embedded in the transformation program.
  
• Culture of Collaboration: Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and self-organisation.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives to drive efficiency, quality, and team dynamics improvements.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required; additional certifications such as SAFe or PMP-ACP preferred.
  
• 8 years of experience in a Scrum Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Program Manager role, specifically within data management or large-scale transformation initiatives.
  
• Experience with Alteryx and SQL technologies.
  
• Ability to align data-related initiatives with business outcomes.
  
• Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams within complex, cross-functional programs, particularly in data transformation projects.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in coaching Agile teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to senior leadership.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, capable of navigating complex technical challenges and aligning team efforts toward shared goals.
  
• Proficiency in Agile tools and techniques, including JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
