Educational Qualification: Chartered accountant (CA) / CS or CMA will be added advantage

Role & responsibilities

  1. Consolidate and prepare financial statement for the company on monthly basis.

  2. Prepare policy for accounting, process flow of accounting procedures and updation of accounting standards.

  3. Exercise overall control on finance operations, general ledger (GL) scrutiny, audits, etc.

  4. Computation of tax on quarterly basis (advance tax) and on yearly basis for certain tax benefits.

  5. Prepare and manage data, formats and schedule for audits of the company on quarterly basis.

  6. Support internal audit (tax audit and cost audit) for schedule, project selection, data required and calculation of revenue.

  7. Calculate project revenue realization on budgeted cost on monthly basis and estimate cost saving possibilities.

  8. Support on monthly provisions for salary, ESOP, finance approval for opex and capex if within approved budget.

  9. Prepare various MIS reports for accounts and taxation required for management, audits, registrar of companies (ROC), stock exchange, government authorities, etc.

  10. Work on automation platform for interpreting and processing quick and error free MIS reports.

  11. Identify area of improvements to improve efficiency of the process, benchmarking best practices in accounting

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Thorough knowledge and updation of all applicable accounting standards

  2. Good knowledge of SAP

  3. Accounting practices prevailing in industry.

  4. Up to date knowledge of all relevant Laws related to Direct and Indirect Taxes, Customs.

Skill

  1. Knowledge of SAP system (finance / costing module)

  2. Knowledge of project management system for revenue related work

  3. Knowledge of accounting standards (fixed asset accounting, revenue recognition, tax computation)

  4. Certification in IFR
