BIM Technician Electrical

A
n overview of your role will include:
•

• reate detail, subassembly, and final assembly drawings of various products from sketches, job sheets, or markups of similar designs as required
  •
• o-ordinate and deliver as built drawings for customers
  •
• reate drawings for permit
  •
• erform required drafting changes or create new drawings as required
  •
• pdate engineering design packages and prepare files for distribution as required
  •
• aintain and update CAD files,
  •
• ssist engineers/designers with drafting and development of engineering work packages
  •
• esign and draft single lines; hazardous area classification; electrical layouts c/w cable tray runs, grounding, cable runs, lighting; wiring schematics; cable/conduit schedules; lighting panel schedules; junction box layouts; control panel layouts; I/O loop drawings; heat trace design; electrical installation details; etc.
  •
• anaging and organizing drawings including drawing number request, receiving, storing, printing, issuing, etc.
  •
• iaising and coordinating closely with internal team members and clients, and working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  •
• lan and organize work
  •
• ll other duties as assigned

• iploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or related discipline) C
• AD Certificate or Diploma from a recognized institution preferred 8
• plus years of AutoCAD drafter/operator, in electrical and control system S
• trong knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical and Autodesk Plant 3D S
• trong knowledge of 3D Modeling E
• xperience in Autodesk Navisworks
