The Lithium-Ion Battery Service Technician/Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and overall service of lithium-ion battery systems within a depot environment. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these battery systems through regular checks, troubleshooting, and repairs.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in servicing or maintaining battery systems, preferably lithium-ion. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations when handling and servicing lithium-ion batteries. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and thermal issues in battery systems using diagnostic tools and software. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and cells. Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery technology, BMS, and related electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes), and software. Strong commitment to safety procedures. Potentially provide technical support and training to other depot personnel. Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for servicing.
