Role Profile

LSEG Post Trade division – SwapClear is seeking a skilled Devops Senior Specialist

Need to be subject matter experts in the underlying technologies. They may be required to provide detailed technical support for developers producing bug fixes & new releases of these applications. Must be self-motivating with the ability to prioritize workload.

Key Tools and Technologies

• DevOps Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform,
• Cloud Technologies: AWS
• Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS
• Monitoring and Logging: DataDog
• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Shell

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
• Required knowledge in DevOps and Cloud Technologies.
• Preferable to have experience/knowledge on on-prem to Cloud migration.
• Having previously worked on Murex will be an added advantage.
• Must have a good SQL knowledge (PL SQL and query optimization is a plus)
• Knowledge on industry renowned CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins etc (Gitlab preferable)
• Knowledge in Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab pipelines, yaml is preferrable.
• Basic or midrange scripting knowledge (Shell scripting, PowerShell) is preferable.
• Hands on experience in Python is an added advantage.
• Hands on experience/know how of cloud technologies (AWS is preferable).
• Knowledge on Scrum and Agile practices.
• Knowledge on scheduling tools like Control-M is an advantage
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to adopt Hybrid working mode and work in Bangalore Office.
• Familiarity with financial products and financial terms.
• Excellent analytical skills, Attention to Detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to IT and business teams and to senior management.
• Strong negotiation / influencing skills able to overcome resistance and reach consensus and compromise to attain the required objective.
