Consistent collaboration with development teams, project managers, and business analysts is paramount to align performance criteria with business objectives, making this position both challenging and rewarding. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop performance test plans based on application requirements.
  • Create and execute performance test scripts using automated testing tools.
  • Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
  • Monitor application performance and analyze test results.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Review system architecture for performance optimization opportunities.
  • Implement performance testing best practices and processes.
  • Generate detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools and techniques.
  • Mentor junior team members on performance testing methodologies.
  • Review and validate performance test environments setup.
  • Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Track and report on performance metrics over time for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Performance Tester and Gatling Tool.
  • Should have experience in configuring new testing scenarios and can develop script in Gatling Tool.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of web and mobile application architecture.
  • Knowledge of cloud performance testing frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor and share knowledge with team members.
  • Performance testing certification is an asset.
