Key responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Solution design and implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP TM solutions to meet client requirements. This includes processes for transportation planning, freight order management, and settlement.
  • Business process expertise: Provide functional and business process expertise, analyze client needs, and conduct gap analysis to solve problems.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM and other SAP modules (such as SD, MM, and EWM) and with third-party systems.
  • Master data management: Manage and maintain master data related to products, business partners, transportation networks, and resources.
  • Freight management: Handle freight execution, cost distribution, and charge management, including carrier selection and tendering processes.
  • Testing and support: Prepare functional specifications, conduct testing, track defects, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP TM-related issues.
  • Training and documentation: Conduct training sessions for end-users and create necessary documentation for support teams and business users.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience with the SAP TM module and a proven track record in implementing projects.
  • Functional knowledge: Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes and SAP TM best practices.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SAP TM configuration, including business process analysis, transportation planning, and freight settlement.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management: Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
