Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer – Telecom Infrastructure

Department: Project / Infrastructure Deployment

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Lead

Location: Palanpur Banas kantha – Gujarat and Sabar kantha Himmat Nagar Gujarat

Job Purpose:

To oversee, execute, and ensure quality civil works related to telecom tower infrastructure, foundations, shelters, and site development as per project specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Survey & Planning

• Conduct site feasibility surveys and soil testing for tower and shelter foundations.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material requirements, and civil drawings based on site conditions.
• Coordinate with design and structural teams for site-specific civil designs.
• Ensure alignment of site layout with telecom design (tower location, shelter, DG foundation, cable route, fencing, etc.).

Project Execution

• Supervise all civil construction activities at sites including foundation, plinth, fencing, cable trench, and compound wall.
• Monitor contractors for timely and quality completion of works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and client standards.
• Coordinate with electrical and telecom teams for integrated site completion.

Quality & Compliance

• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to IS codes and company quality standards.
• Maintain site inspection reports, test reports (cube tests, soil compaction, etc.), and quality documentation.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE on site.
• Verify and certify contractor bills based on physical progress.

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients for work approvals and inspections.
• Prepare and submit daily / weekly site progress reports and photographs.
• Support project scheduling and update milestones in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Maintain records of site material consumption and wastage.

Site Handover

• Conduct joint inspection with clients for site acceptance.
• Ensure rectification of punch points and final site documentation (as-built drawings, QA/QC records).
• Handover completed sites to the O&M or commissioning teams.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of telecom tower foundation and shelter civil works.
• Expertise in reading civil drawings and using AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of quality, safety, and environmental norms.
• Vendor & contractor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–3 years (preferably in telecom infrastructure, tower erection, or EPC projects). (Freshers can apply)
• Certifications (Preferred): QA/QC in Civil Works, Safety Certification, or Project Management.

Pay: ₹10, ₹45,138.53 per month
