Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical control systems for automated equipment and industrial processes. This role is hands-on and project-driven, working closely with mechanical engineers, software/PLC engineers, and production teams from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for automation systems
  • Select electrical components (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, safety devices, sensors, power supplies)
  • Develop I/O lists, electrical BOMs, and cable schedules
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (UL, NFPA 79, IEC, CE, etc.)
  • Support panel fabrication, machine wiring, and system integration
  • Collaborate with controls/software engineers during PLC and HMI development
  • Assist with system testing, debugging, and on-site commissioning as needed
  • Provide technical documentation and support for customers and internal teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 4+years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation or machinery
  • Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and power distribution
  • Familiarity with PLC-based automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with safety systems and functional safety standards
  • Exposure to multiple PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.)
  • Knowledge of servo motion systems and VFDs
  • UL 508A panel design experience
  • Experience supporting installations or commissioning in the field

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
