Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Lead manual and automated testing efforts across various platforms (web, mobile, API, desktop).
  • Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, BA, PM, DevOps) to ensure clarity on requirements and timelines.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Support test automation efforts; write and maintain scripts in tools such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
  • Mentor junior testers and review their test cases and results.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide test estimates and contribute to test strategy and planning.
  • Contribute to the testing of MES applications and validate shop floor workflows, data capture, and

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA)

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter, or similar

Good understanding of SQL and backend data validation

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) domain knowledge nice to have

Understanding of shop floor processes, production order management, and traceability

Familiarity with integration between MES and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA)

Ability to validate MES functionalities such as work instructions, machine connectivity, and

production tracking

Experience with MES tools like Siemens Opcenter, GE Proficy, Rockwell Factory, or equivalent is a plus
