About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Quality Engineer
with
3-5 years
of hands-on experience in
Sand Casting
and
CNC Machining
processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, quality assurance, and process improvement techniques within a precision manufacturing environment. This role demands both technical knowledge and analytical skills to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control & Assurance:
  • Inspect and monitor products manufactured through sand casting and CNC machining.
  • Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.
  • Testing & Measurements:
  • Operate and manage quality instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM, and other measuring tools.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
  • Analyze metallurgical properties and surface finish parameters to maintain casting and machining standards.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify defects, root causes, and propose corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Work closely with the production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives like
    Kaizen, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma
    practices.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and maintain ISO/TS documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and organizational quality systems.
  • Handle internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, or customer audits).
  • Customer & Vendor Interaction:
  • Address customer complaints related to quality and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to ensure incoming raw materials and outsourced processes meet quality standards.
