A mechanical quality engineer ensures mechanical products and systems meet standards by designing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data to identify and resolve defects, and collaborating with teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing quality assurance protocols, performing root cause analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and generating reports on quality metrics and corrective actions. Core Responsibilities

  • Develop Quality Systems: Design, implement, audit, and update quality control systems and detailed guidelines for quality assurance.
  • Inspect and Test: Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, equipment, processes, and finished products to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Product & Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions, improve product quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that products and processes meet both organizational and industry-specific quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and participate in supplier audits and quality assurance processes.

Key Activities

  • Standardization: Establish quality parameters, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization to reduce costs, improve product reliability, and increase efficiency.
  • Training: Provide training and education to production staff and other team members on quality control standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Lead problem-solving efforts, such as 8D problem-solving, to resolve quality issues from containment to verification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship

Pay: ₹18, ₹55,000.00 per month
