Solutions Analyst

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • 3 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and project team members to proactively resolve project conflicts, address open issues, set expectations, and communicate status updates.
  • Strong background in business analysis, with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis using SQL to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation efforts.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical work items.
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts and databases.
  • Document and communicate technical and non-technical requirements effectively to both technical and business teams.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had:

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and data analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of software development practices, such as SCRUM/Agile.
  • Ability to accurately track and manage project status concerning resources, finances, and schedules.
  • Experience managing sprint plans.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and other project participants.

What You Would Be Doing in This Role:

Business Analysis:

  • Requirement Development:
    • Document and refine requirements into clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • User Story Grooming:
    • Work closely with the engineering team to groom backlogs, clarify technical needs, and ensure stories are sprint-ready.
  • Process Mapping:
    • Analyze and map current-state business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for system and process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as the liaison between Product Owners, platform engineers, and Solution Architects to ensure requirements are clearly understood and aligned with the product vision.
  • Testing:
    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and provide post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
