Role Overview

Faculty members in the Department of Pharmacology will be responsible for teaching and training MBBS students in pharmacological concepts, experimental pharmacology, and clinical applications, while fostering research and maintaining NMC-compliant academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach MBBS students in theoretical and practical aspects of Pharmacology.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and experimental lab sessions.
• Guide students in research, seminars, and case discussions.
• Maintain departmental labs, inventories, and academic documentation.
• Participate in curriculum planning, CME programs, and institutional committees.
• Ensure compliance with NMC and university norms.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications & Experience: As per NMC norms for the respective designation (Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Tutor).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over general, clinical, and experimental pharmacology.
• Effective teaching, communication, and leadership skills.
• Research orientation with publications (preferred).
