Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
  • Patching, updates, and OS upgrades ensuring system stability and security.
  • Server provisioning, commissioning, and decommissioning of hardware and virtual servers.
  • LVM management, storage, and backup operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex server, application, and network issues.
  • Configure and maintain cluster environments (HA, load balancing, failover).
  • Perform OS migrations and upgrades across environments.
  • Monitor system performance, plan capacity, and ensure 24x7 uptime.
  • Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer to L1/L2 teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project deployment and issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills / Expertise:

  • Linux OS: RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux (admin, troubleshooting, performance tuning).
  • Storage & LVM: Expertise in disk management, LVM, RAID, backup/restore.
  • Server Hardware: Dell, HP, IBM, or similar.
  • Virtualization & Clustering: KVM, VMware, HA cluster setup & management.
  • Scripting: Shell scripting for automation and task optimization.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proficient with logs, system metrics, and tools like Nagios/Zabbix.
  • Patching & OS Migration: Experience in enterprise environments.
  • Shift: Flexible for 24x7 rotational shifts.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Relevant Linux certifications (RHCE / RHCSA / LPIC) preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹800, ₹1,800,000.00 per year
