Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Boy to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests, staff, or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.

Dust and polish furniture and fittings.

Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

Replace used towels and replenish bathroom supplies.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Follow standard cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.

Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used properly and stored safely.

Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and staircases.

Dispose of trash and waste appropriately and regularly.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (optional but preferred).

Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning procedures.

Experience in hotels, hospitals, or residential facilities is a plus.

Work Environment:

Indoor work, primarily in hotels, resorts, offices, or residential settings.

Regular physical activity including walking, lifting, bending, and using cleaning tools.

Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
