Mission description

Objective: Ensure grit blasting, thermal spray and manual degreasing operations are performed in compliance with applicable procedures and documentation. Authorities: Escalate any operational issues related to assigned operations to superiors. Perform the assigned operation Verify manufacturing operations related to grit blasting and thermal spray within manufacturing routers. Create, update, and maintain manufacturing logbooks along with relevant details. Maintain and update record sheets, tooling lists, daily/weekly maintenance checklists, and all other documentation required for sandblasting and coating operations. Responsibilities: Maintain proper 5S standards in the work area. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Understand process requirements based on customer specifications. Comprehend and follow process standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement. Recommend improvements to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained for safe and effective operation. Maintain tooling in good working condition. Physical Demands: Keep the work area, equipment, and all documents/records audit-ready at all times. Participate in all mandatory training sessions related to assigned process. Identify areas for improvement within operations. Recommend initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Required Skills and Experience (This profile outlines the qualifications, skills, and attributes of the ideal candidate.) Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering. Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in sandblasting, Plasma Spray, and HVOF coating within a manufacturing environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings. Behavioral Skills: Strong ability to persuade, take initiative, and accept responsibility. Adaptable and flexible, with a proactive and autonomous work style. Willing to support and collaborate with others; skilled in building relationships. Creative, persistent, precise, self-motivated, and confident. Comfortable working with ambiguity, minimal guidance, and multiple simultaneous tasks. Desirable Skills: Experience working in the Aerospace sector. Effective team player.
