Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Engineer, based in Varanasi. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for managing the maintenance and proper functioning of all facilities within the hotel. This includes overseeing the repair and maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety compliance, managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating with management to optimize operations, and implementing energy-saving initiatives. The Chief Engineer will also conduct regular inspections and planning future upgrades to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and facility efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Experience in hotel maintenance operations and safety compliance
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in handling emergency situations and problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience as a Chief Engineer in the hospitality industry is a plus
