Transport Executive - Reefer Container Transportation (Pan India)

Location: JNPT, URAN

Reporting to: Transport Manager / Operations Head

Role Summary:

The Transport Executive will be responsible for managing the dispatch, tracking, and coordination of reefer container transportation across India. The role demands strong vendor management, documentation handling, real-time shipment monitoring, and quick problem-solving to ensure smooth movement of temperature-controlled cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange, track, and monitor reefer container shipments Pan India.

• Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and customers for timely deliveries.

• Ensure proper documentation including LR, E-way bills, and PODs.

• Negotiate transport rates and manage vendor relationships.

• Provide daily tracking updates and maintain trip/fuel reports.

• Handle emergencies, breakdowns, and temperature-related issues during transit.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).

• 2-5 years experience in transport operations, ideally with reefer containers.

• Knowledge of GPS tracking, cold chain compliance, and transport documentation.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Email, and Reporting.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work beyond standard hours in case of urgent shipments.

• Ability to handle Pan India movements efficiently.
