Key ResponsibilitiesCNC Operation

  • Set up and operate CNC turning/milling machines as per job requirements.
  • Load raw materials, calibrate machine tools, and monitor operations for accuracy.
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and preventive maintenance.
  • Inspect finished components using Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
  • Ensure production quality, machine safety, and adherence to timelines.

Design & Programming

  • Create 2D/3D component drawings using AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Fusion 360.
  • Convert designs into CAM programs for CNC machining.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and material specifications.
  • Optimize tool paths, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain job sheets, production logs, and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors and quality teams for smooth workflow.
  • Suggest improvements in machining processes and tool selection.

Skills & Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die / CNC Operation.
  • 1–4 years of hands-on CNC machine operation and design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
  • Good understanding of machining processes and measurement tools.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machine issues.
