Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead execution, testing & commissioning of Pooling Substations (PSS) for capacities up to 500 MW, including: - Equipment foundations (transformers, switchgear, control panels, reactors, STATCOM, SVG). - Erection of electrical & auxiliary equipment. - Testing & commissioning of primary, secondary, and protection systems.

  2. Oversee EHV transmission line construction, testing, and integration with the grid.

  3. Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, and SCADA teams for interface works.

  4. Ensure all statutory approvals (CEA, CEIG, PTCC, Sec.164) are obtained by EPC within project timelines.

  5. Ensure Power Collection Network (PCN) planning and execution is completed by EPC as per project requirements.

  6. Understanding of documentation of FTC (First Time Charging): Approval & readiness for initial energization.

  7. Lead electrical execution team, coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and project stakeholders.

  8. Ensure HSSE compliance and conduct safety & quality audits.

Key Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of EHV, HV, MV systems, protection schemes, and grid integration.
• Hands-on experience in PSS execution from foundation to commissioning.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams for timely project delivery.
• Knowledge of statutory approval processes and utility requirements.
• Excellent leadership, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification: B. Tech / B.E. /Diploma (Electrical Engineering) Experience: 10-15 years in wind / renewable energy projects.
