AI Computer Vision Engineer - Plant Monitoring Systems

Position Overview 



Join the Ex Venture Academy team at Lemnamat to develop advanced computer vision systems for monitoring duckweed growth, health, and quality in real-time. This elite internship offers hands-on experience creating AI-powered visual monitoring solutions that optimize cultivation conditions and automate quality assessment. 



AI Focus Areas 



Through Ex Venture Academy's structured learning approach, you will:

  • Develop computer vision algorithms for plant growth monitoring and analysis
  • Implement machine learning models for automated plant health assessment
  • Create image processing pipelines for biomass quantification and quality evaluation
  • Design real-time monitoring systems that integrate with automated cultivation controls
  • Build predictive models for growth rate optimization and harvest timing 


Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing computer vision algorithms for duckweed monitoring
  • Help implement image processing pipelines for growth and health assessment
  • Support the integration of vision systems with the cultivation platform
  • Collect and prepare image datasets for machine learning model training
  • Contribute to the development of automated quality control systems
  • Participate in Ex Venture Academy's AI skill development workshops 


Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, Computer Vision, or a related field 
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of ./. or equivalent
  • Experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques 
  • Programming skills in Python and relevant AI frameworks 
  • Understanding of image processing fundamentals 
  • Interest in agricultural applications of AI technology 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset aligned with Ex Venture Academy's values
