Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Territory Manager based in Lucknow. The Territory Manager will oversee the sales and distribution of VNR products within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with distributors and farmers, conducting market analysis, and identifying new business opportunities. The position also involves organizing field demonstrations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company's vision of innovative farming practices.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies
  • Strong Relationship Management skills to effectively interact with distributors, farmers, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Agricultural Practices and Products, particularly related to seeds, and an understanding of market trends
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills, both verbal and written
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for reporting and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory
  • Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or agribusiness is an advantage
