Your role

Are you passionate about Data Engineering and Data Integration Platforms? Do you have experience with supporting complex Data Platforms on Azure? Do you want to contribute to the development and evolution of our strategic Integration Fabric product? We are looking for an Integration Fabric Tech Data Engineer to join our team and help us to:

• respond to production incidents to gain first-hand experience of operational hotspots and identify the root causes of problems
• implement strategies that increase system reliability and performance
• minimize the risk and impact of failures by engineering operational improvements, such as predictive monitoring, auto-scaling, or self-healing
• support project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management

Your team

You will join the Integration Engineering crew in Technology Inventories Data & Reporting Services (TIDRS) alongside 400 colleagues globally. TIDRS offers best-in-class and cost-effective IT Asset Man-agement, Data Platform Service, and Service Management Technology for the global bank. Within Integration Engineering, you will be part of the Integration Fabric pod. The Integration Fabric pod is responsible for creating and curating high-quality Technology Inventory data products to the bank.

Your expertise

• strong problem solving skills, software development and programming background
• knowledge of Power BI from administrators perspective, proficient in Python, SQL, Big Data/no SQL DBs
• ability to adopt software engineering practices to make operations as an engineering problem and enhance the resiliency of the Integration Fabric application
• apply a broad range of engineering practices with a focus on reliability, from instrumentation, performance analysis, and log analytics to automated testing, deployment, and operations
• respond to production incidents to gain first-hand experience of operational hotspots and identify the root causes of problems
• recommend improvements, solutions, and respective implementation plans, oversight authorization concept for application, creating/managing new rights, automate security setup
• excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex ideas in an approachable way
