Mechanical Design Engineer

About This Role

You will be responsible for leading Design and Development of mechanical systems for our cutting-edge defence products.

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives on owning projects end-to-end—from ideation to deployment. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work on actual hardware from day one — designing, prototyping, testing, and breaking things that the Armed Forces might use tomorrow. You'll be part of the R&D team behind our next-gen defence products, contributing to everything from sketches to field tests.

What You'll Be Doing

• Brainstorm & sketch concepts based on first principles (we don't do copy-paste design).
• Design 3D models and detailed mechanical parts using SolidWorks or Fusion 360 considering DFM, DFMEA, DFA.
• Rapid prototype using 3D printers, CNC Milling, and other machines in our in-house R&D lab.
• Work closely with electronics and software teams to bring hardware to life.
• Break your designs, fix them fast, and learn even faster.
• Analyze and Simulate the models in ANSYS and MATLAB
• Test and validate prototypes as per MIL STDs

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical new product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, and 3D printing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Passion for hands-on projects — show us what you've built
