Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Stamping Tool Design Manager located in Chennai. The Stamping Tool Design Manager will lead design projects from concept to completion, manage a team of tool designers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality stamping tools. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, development, and manufacturing of stamping tools, reviewing customer drawings, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Stamping Tool Design, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal processes, tool development, and fabrication
  • Ability to review and interpret customer drawings and specifications
  • Leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of tool designers
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of IATF-16949/2016 certification standards
