Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Risk Management (CAT Modeling)
The position operates in a dynamic and deadline driven environment. The position is well suited to those with a positive "Can do" attitude.  We are looking for the following skills which are required to perform the day-to-day job.
Responsibilities

•    Have team leading abilities & act as mentor/guide to the team

•    Be collaborative, to be able manage multiple internal/external/functional stakeholders

•    Advanced knowledge of Modelling Tools (AIR) & its backend schema

•    Perform Exposure Database reconciliations to identify the reason for variations in the exposure results

•    Communicate & collaborate on a daily basis with the LM in analyzing the results & Work as single point of contact for the LM for any ad-hoc requests

•    Ability to support multiple work types & ad hoc projects across the Risk Management domain and resolve technical queries of team members

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications

•    Graduate/MBA equivalent with 10-15 years of experience

•    Preferably 5-8 years of relevant experience in Insurance within Underwriting / Catastrophe modeling domain 

•    Proficient in MS Excel and SQL.

•    Visual Basics and Python would be an added advantage.

Preferred skills

•    Good understanding of Property and Casualty Insurance & Reinsurance concepts.

•    Good quantitative and analytical skills.

•    Ability to work independently and in large teams.

•    Effective time management skills.

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
