  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of nuclear engineering projects, adhering to strict safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for nuclear power plant design, operation, or maintenance initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for nuclear engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success
  • Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses related to nuclear systems and components
  • Develop and review technical documentation, including design specifications, safety reports, and regulatory submissions
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear engineering technology and industry best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in nuclear engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Advanced knowledge of nuclear engineering principles, practices, and regulatory standards
  • Expertise in nuclear power plant systems, components, and radiation protection principles
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Proficiency in CAD software and nuclear simulation tools
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
