Role Description

We are seeking a qualified Aviation Transcription Specialist with strong familiarity in aviation communication, terminology, and industry standards. The role involves transcribing aviation-related audio content with precision and contributing domain expertise to enhance our AI models.

Responsibility

  • Transcribe aviation audio recordings with a high degree of accuracy
  • Identify, research, and verify aviation-related terminology
  • Review and proofread transcripts for clarity, consistency, and correctness
  • Work collaboratively with the AI development team to improve transcription workflows
  • Handle sensitive or confidential data responsibly
  • Meet assigned deadlines within established processes

Qualifications

  • Experience in aviation transcription or strong familiarity with aviation terminology and procedures
  • Excellent transcription, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Advanced proficiency in American English (written and spoken)
  • Strong research skills to validate terminology and contextual accuracy
  • Experience using transcription tools or AI-based platforms (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Science, Linguistics, or related fields (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
