Job Description :

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 1+ years of web development in Django, focusing more on back-end web development. You need to be familiar with the back-end knowledge that a fully functional web site needs, for example, database modelling based on the requirements, background jobs, cron jobs, enough SQL to understand the queries generated by ORM and optimize them. Knowledge of Devops is a bonus but not a requirement. You should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with standard development practices and technical design.

Software Engineer detailed requirements are :

years' experience of working as a backend or full stack Django web developer.

- Knowledge in creating and using REST API is must.

- knowledge of any REST API library is must. [Django Rest Framework (DRF) is an add-on]

- Should have experience on designing class based views.

- Workable knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and a good understanding of how a web application and web server works.

- Should be familiar with background jobs, cron jobs and preferably worked on them and knowledge on celery and any messaging queues are required.

- Workable knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (MySQL, Postgres) to be able to do query optimization.

- Knowledge and experience in other backend languages and frameworks eg Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Spring Boot, NodeJS/Express is a bonus.

- Having experience with tools like Git and Postman/Swagger is desirable but not mandatory.

- Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology and release processes and willingness to follow the laid down processes.
