Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening dealer and channel partner relationships, and promoting the APL Apollo Colour Coated brand in the Kangra region. The role requires a proactive individual who can independently manage field operations, marketing activities, and relationship building to ensure market expansion and consistent business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners in Kangra and nearby areas.
  • Conduct regular field visits to meet existing and potential clients, understand their business needs, and ensure product satisfaction.
  • Execute marketing and brand promotion activities at the regional level (events, product demos, on-site branding, etc.).
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential market segments, and untapped dealer networks.
  • Address and resolve concerns, grievances, and operational issues of channel partners promptly.
  • Gather market insights related to competition, pricing, and demand trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the central marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment with national sales goals and brand positioning.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales reports, dealer performance summaries, and marketing activity updates.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in sales or marketing, preferably in building materials / steel / roofing / hardware / construction products.
  • Strong understanding of dealer distribution networks and on-field sales management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable with independent on-field work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic CRM reporting.
  • Candidate must have a two-wheeler and be willing to travel extensively across the region.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
