Role: Echo Technician

Job Purpose: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented ECHO Technician to perform echocardiograms and assist in the diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. The technician will use ultrasound imaging equipment to evaluate cardiac function and structure, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as prescribed
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process clearly to reduce anxiety
  • Identify normal and abnormal cardiac conditions using echocardiographic techniques
  • Document and record test results, measurements, and observations accurately
  • Collaborate with cardiologists in interpreting results and preparing reports
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment and examination rooms
  • Keep accurate logs, patient records, and maintenance reports
  • Stay updated with current echocardiographic techniques and industry practices

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, or Allied Health Sciences
  • Certification in echocardiography (preferred but not always mandatory)
  • 1–3 years of experience as an ECHO Technician (freshers may also apply depending on the role level)
  • Familiarity with different types of echocardiographic procedures (TTE, stress echo, contrast echo, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month
