About the Role:

We are hiring a
Core Automation Developer
with strong expertise in
Java, Selenium, and Appium
to design and implement automation solutions for both
web and mobile applications
. The role involves building robust automation frameworks, improving testing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality product delivery within the
banking/fintech
domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain
    automation frameworks
    for web and mobile platforms.
  • Design and execute
    automation test scripts
    using
    Selenium (Web)
    and
    Appium (Mobile)
    .
  • Collaborate with QA, developers, and business teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Integrate automation tests within
    CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
    .
  • Conduct debugging, defect analysis, and test result reporting.
  • Ensure test coverage, script optimization, and continuous improvement of automation processes.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Programming Language:
    Strong proficiency in
    Java
  • Automation Tools:
    Selenium WebDriver, Appium
  • Frameworks:
    TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD)
  • API Testing:
    RestAssured, Postman
  • Build & CI/CD Tools:
    Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git
  • Version Control:
    GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Database:
    Basic SQL for backend data validation

Good to Have:

  • Hands-on experience in
    mobile automation
    (Android & iOS)
  • Exposure to
    cloud testing tools
    (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
  • Experience in
    banking/fintech projects
  • Knowledge of
    performance testing tools
    like JMeter

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-driven with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in agile teams

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
