Il (elle) devra s'assurer de la qualité des plans de fabrication en fonction des calculs réalisés et des bonnes pratiques d'ingénierie.

The Heat Exchanger engineering department (Arabelle Solutions), needs to reinforce its team with a Mechanical Condenser Lead Engineer. The engineer will be in charge to perform mechanical design of condenser as per applicable codes, standard and internal rules to be created and maintained. Engineer must ensure the quality of the manufacturing drawing as per calculation and good engineering practice.

1.Principales Responsabilités et missions / Main Duties & Responsibilities

L'ingénieur sera en charge de :

  • Réaliser, si nécessaire, les calculs analytiques mécaniques pour le pré-dimensionnement des produits en phase d'offres.
  • Analyser le contrat et les spécifications techniques afin d'identifier les points critiques avant de démarrer la conception
  • Réaliser/Piloter le dimensionnement mécanique des équipements en considérant les spécifications clients, les réglementations, les instructions internes, les données d'entrée et les codes de construction.
  • Rédiger/Vérifier les notes de calculs
  • Revoir et valider les plans de fabrication des équipements.
  • Organiser, présenter ou participer aux revues de conception.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les ingénieries thermique et fabrication afin d'optimiser la conception.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes d'intégrité mécanique en leur communiquant les hypothèses adéquates à considérer
  • Challenger les équipes d'intégrité mécanique en vérifiant les conditions limites des modèles éléments finis ainsi que les résultats de calculs.
  • Répondre aux commentaires clients.
  • Contribuer à la mise à jour des règles internes de conception, en proposant des améliorations de conception ainsi que des réductions de coûts basés sur le retour d'expérience des projet en exécution.
  • Etre en mesure d'appréhender des problématiques nouvelles (principalement liées à la conception mécanique, à la fabrication et au cadre réglementaire).
  • Revoir/Valider les requêtes fournisseurs (CR) et/ou les non-conformités (NCR) liées à la fabrication des produits.
  • Assurer la conformité aux exigences règlementaires, y compris le respect des requis liés à la Sureté Nucléaire
  • Respect des objectifs, sécurité (EHS), qualité, délais et couts sur les activités confiées

The engineer will be in charge of:

  • Executing if required the analytical mechanical calculations for the sizing of products during tender phase
  • Executing contract and specification reading to identify critical areas prior designing equipment
  • Executing and leading the mechanical sizing of products considering client specifications and directives, internal guidelines, design instructions, input data and conception rules,
  • Executing / Checking the documentation and notes sent to clients,
  • Checking the manufacturing drawing of equipment
  • Organizing, presenting or participating to internal design review
  • Participating on demand to the client clarification meetings
  • Working in interface with thermal engineering and manufacturing quality teams for design optimization
  • Working in interface with mechanical integrity team, to communicate assumptions to be considered
  • Being able to challenge Mechanical integrity team by checking boundary conditions or other modeling assumptions of Finite Element model and calculation results
  • Being able to answer to customer issues
  • Contribute to design rules updating. Providing proposals for design improvement and cost reduction initiatives based on project's return of experience.
  • Being able to deal with new problematics (mainly mechanical issues, manufacturing issues, regulatory issue)
  • Review the Concession Request(s) (CR) and / or Non-Conformity Report (NCR) related to Products in manufacturing
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including Nuclear Safety requirements
  • Ensuring compliance to EHS rules. Contributing to EHS improvement on the whole product life cycle

2.Compétences Requises/ Required Skills

2.1.Education & Experience

  • Diplôme d'ingénieur ou équivalent
  • 5+ années d'expérience en ingénierie dans le secteur de l'énergie

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in Engineering activities in industrial environment

  • Experience in power plant engineering,

2.2.Savoir Techniques / Technical Know-how

  • Solides connaissances en ingénierie mécanique (RDM, sciences des matériaux).
  • Bonnes connaissances des codes dans le domaine structure (EX/ Eurocode 3, CM 66)
  • Bonnes connaissances des principes en éléments finis, connaissance des outils d'éléments finis (tel ANSYS) appréciées.
  • Bonnes connaissances des codes de calculs pour structures (Eurocode 3, CM 66)
  • Solides aptitudes à réaliser des calculs et rédiger des documents tels que notes de calcul, directives internes
  • des connaissances en enceintes sous pression et échangeurs thermiques ainsi que les codes de construction associés (ASME, EN13445, CODAP, AD2000, WRC107, RCCM, GB-150, TEMA, HEI) seraient un plus.
  • Des compétences souhaitées sur au moins un outil de calculs pour enceintes sous pression ((AutoPipe Vessel, Compress, PVElite) seraient un plus
  • Fortes Compétences en élaboration de plans techniques de fabrication et des bonnes pratiques, aisance avec les outils CAO (CATIA, produits Autodesk ou équivalent).
  • Capacité à lire et vérifier des schémas tuyauterie et instrumentation (P&IDs)

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering physics

  • Strong knowledge in structure codes (Like Eurocode 3, CM 66),
  • Good knowledge of FEA principles, skills in FEA software (as ANSYS) helpful.
  • High Capability of making clear calculations and documents like calculation notes, internal guidelines
  • Knowledge in pressure vessel codes and heat exchange equipment standards and guidelines (ASME, EN13445, CODAP, AD2000 mandatory, WRC107, RCCM, GB-150, TEMA, HEI), helpful, (but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of at least one pressure vessel calculation software (AutoPipe Vessel, Compress, PVElite) helpful, (but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge in engineering technical drawings construction and drawings good engineering practices, familiar with CAD tools: CATIA, Autodesk products or equivalent.
