Overview
An ASP.NET Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Microsoft's .NET framework. This role is essential for creating web applications that meet the needs of the organization and its clients while adhering to best coding practices and industry standards. As an ASP.NET Developer, you will collaborate with other team members and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key responsibilities
  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and MVC.
  • Create and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries for application development.
  • Integrate data storage solutions and data access layers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement security and data protection measures in the applications.
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to the software solutions being developed.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality development.
  • Provide technical support and consultancy on application issues.
  • Contribute to documentation and maintain coding standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design functional requirements.


Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have experience of working in 4 major e-Governance projects
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
  • Candidate must have total experience of 6 years with minimum 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-level .NET applications.
  • The Candidate must have experience working on minimum 4 government projects, particularly involving e-governance or ERP systems..
  • Proven experience in ASP.NET web application development.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
  • Strong understanding of MVC and web API development.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database design.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.
  • Experience in implementing responsive design using Bootstrap or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of web services and APIs for integration purposes.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and use related tools.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certifications or professional training in .NET development is a plus.
