Job Title: Phlebotomist (Mobile)

Reports To: GM – Lab

Salary: ₹20,000 + Collection-Based Incentives

Job Summary

CRPL is looking for a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients at their homes or offices. The role requires ensuring patient comfort, maintaining sample integrity, and delivering samples to the laboratory in a timely and safe manner while adhering to infection control and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned locations to collect blood samples from patients at home or workplace.
  • Verify patient identity and collect mandatory patient information before sample collection.
  • Prepare venipuncture sites using standard disinfection procedures.
  • Identify suitable veins and collect blood samples using sterile equipment.
  • Ensure proper post-collection care, including cleaning puncture sites and applying dressings.
  • Dispose of needles, syringes, and bio-medical waste as per safety and biohazard protocols.
  • Label samples accurately and store them according to laboratory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient and collection records, including noting any complications during sample collection.
  • Transport collected samples to the laboratory promptly while maintaining temperature and handling standards.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality protocols at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment, kits, and vehicle used for collections.
  • Coordinate effectively with the lab team and meet assigned daily collection targets.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Qualification: B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Nursing, or related healthcare discipline.
  • Phlebotomy certification with minimum 1 year of hands-on experience preferred.
  • Valid driving license; own two-wheeler preferred.
  • Good communication skills with a patient-friendly and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage mobile collection schedules efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
