Girls Hostel Warden

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily functioning of the hostel for girls/boys, ensuring safety, discipline, and cleanliness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hostel-related issues and student concerns.
• Ensure students follow hostel rules and institute regulations.
• Supervise hostel activities, including attendance, study hours, lights-out, etc.
• Provide first-line support in case of emergencies or health issues.
• Maintain proper records related to hostel occupancy, incidents, and student behaviour.
• Coordinate with institute administration, faculty, and medical staff for student welfare.
• Address grievances of students while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour.
• Organize and supervise hostel events and cultural activities when required.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (Preference may be given to candidates with experience in hostel management or education sector).
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a defence, military, or boarding school environment.
• Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle young students with patience, empathy, and firmness.
• Willingness to reside full-time within the institute premises.
