Position Summary
We are seeking motivated engineers to join our Switching Software development team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade networking software and contribute to products used by businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain switching software components
  • Implement network protocols including STP, VLAN, LACP, and Layer 2/3 switching features
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C/C++ and Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and QA teams
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues in both development and production environments
  • Contribute to software architecture discussions and design reviews
  • Support integration testing and work closely with QA teams during product development cycles

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with Python
  • Understanding of computer networks, L2,L3 protocol expertise, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control systems (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or projects involving network programming or embedded systems
  • Understanding of Ethernet, switching, and routing protocols
  • Experience with debugging tools like GDB, Valgrind, or similar
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
