Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains the Order & Execution Management System by designing, developing, and supporting business requirements in accordance with the software development lifecycle.
  • Acts as an individual contributor responsible for writing high-quality, reliable code to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Collaborates proactively with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and Support, to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensures thorough understanding and adherence to all CLSA standards, training, and regulatory requirements applicable to the team.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Maintains documentation related to system design, development processes, and compliance standards to ensure knowledge sharing and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of solid hands-on experience in designing & development of application in Core Java.
  • Basic understanding of RDBMS & Middleware/Messaging layer Solace, Tibco EMS.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and provide solutions to these problems.
  • Passionate willingness to self-learn new technologies and best practices.
  • Some familiarity with agile development artifacts, best practices, and techniques.
  • Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills in English
