Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong background in hospitality design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact interior concepts that align with client goals and brand identity. This role requires hands-on project involvement from concept through completion, including space planning, FF&E selection, and coordination with vendors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interiors for hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and lounges.

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to define design vision and deliverables.

  • Create mood boards, material palettes, concept sketches, and design presentations.

  • Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and FF&E schedules.

  • Source and select finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with brand standards and design intent.

  • Oversee design documentation in compliance with building codes, ADA, and other applicable regulations.

  • Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining design integrity.

  • Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

  • Conduct site visits and resolve design-related issues during construction.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design with a strong emphasis on hospitality projects.

  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing completed hospitality design projects.

  • Deep understanding of spatial planning, material selection, lighting, and current hospitality trends.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.

  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and wellness-focused design is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • NCIDQ certification or working toward licensure.

  • Experience with procurement processes for FF&E.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
